The Tärnaleden continues north over the suspension bridge. The bridge also enables a circular walk on both sides of the Umeälven. For safety reasons, a maximum of four people are allowed to enter the bridge at the same time. Cycling is not permitted.

The campsite is terraced above Tärnaån. It is a good starting point for a hike on the "Tärnaleden" or for climbing the "Gäutafjellet".
