Good ride

The Museum Kvarnen is located between Vaasa and Sundom, but it's permanently close as of today. You can still enjoy the view of a beautiful red mill just outside of it.

From this cycleway north of Vaasa, you can get out of the city in a secure and brilliant way. Enjoy the glimpses of nature, with waters and trees all around you!

On this non-asphalted but compact terrain, you can enjoy a very Finnish countryside. The coastline is really beautiful south of Vaasa and you can pedal in all tranquillity under the trees.

From this point, you can see the small hill of Öjberget, which tops at around 55 meters above sea level. It's still one of the highest peaks in this area and a ski lift was functioning here!

The Roplot Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in Finland and was only built in 1997.

A small, but well stocked museum telling the story of the wars Finland has fought in. (No pictures allowed in many spots in the museum, thats why only one pic in this reviesw). Good collection of pictures, weapons and misc. documents on display. Free (voluntary donation), but check opening times from their website as the opening time on Google seem to be incorrect.
