This harju near Punkaharju is one of the most famous in the country! Rolling hills and lakes on both sides make it a wonderful and scenic road.

quiet side road, almost flat (unusual around these parts), okay asphalt, bike path from the SW end of this segment through Simpele village, at the NE end there is a rather dilapitated underpass connecting to Koitsantie (gravel) further north

at times busy but sort of manageable, shoulder wide enough to ride on, section with bike path in the middle of the segment, south of there I guess you’re meant to use the side road Koitsantie (gravel) to the east of the highway but I wouldn’t bother

good alternative to the busy highway, hilly, little traffic, okay asphalt, bike path in the northern end (wouldn’t bother)
