The ferry will continue to operate at an adjusted frequency from April to October; a higher load is not possible due to the shallow water. A large jetty and a restoration project are planned for next year on the Gelderland side, something that has so far only been done on the Flevoland side.

A Gateway with Allure The Broederpoort is one of the three remaining city gates of Kampen. It is located on the park side at the end of Broederweg. On this side, there was no stone city wall, but an earthen rampart to defend the city. The gate was moved to its current location in 1465. The original gate stood on the Kampen city canal, the Burgel.

Excellently preserved, with a beautifully preserved historic city center. The entire fortress is worth seeing.

It's always nice to suddenly have a view of the former Zuiderzee again after a long walk through the polder country.

Not as impressive as nearby Elburg, but several historic buildings worth seeing and photogenic views.
