The Wetsingerzijl is a double-locking lock in the municipality of Het Hogeland in the Dutch province of Groningen. The Zijl is located in the Wetsingermaar, just before the outlet into the Reitdiep. The Zijl has no longer had any function since 1969 and is therefore always open.

On to the highest natural point of Groningen; the Kardingebult. Through the green you climb towards the top and conquer the 30 meter high mountain. There is a watchtower on top, for those who can't get enough of the height. From there you have a beautiful view over the province.
