Winter hiking with a gigantic panoramic view

There's hardly a more fitting name for a trail. Especially when combined with the Great White, it's an iconic combination. The Dark Side of the Moon starts just below the Rothorn cable car mountain station and leads through the eponymous stone desert down to the avalanche barrier and over to Gredigs Fürggli. The trail's "red" rating on Trailforks is fitting. Along the way, the occasional rock roll or natural wall ride offers the opportunity to spice up the trail experience a bit. The Älplisee Trail is an absolute biking highlight in the Lenzerheide-Arosa region. The start is at Gredigs Fürggli and leads through a breathtakingly beautiful high valley down over the Älplisee and Schwellisee to Innerarosa. The upper section of the trail is not technically difficult, but it is very narrow and quite exposed, which is something to be aware of. It's a shame that it's impossible to cycle around the lake properly. The cows have made the path along the shore impossible to walk comfortably... what a shame.
