There is no sign of a construction site at the Jägerhaus (08.03.23). You can probably rent rooms for celebrations at high prices, otherwise it is closed. The grotto under the front of the Jägerhaus is a must-see. There are figures and writings that have been carved into the rocks.

Beautiful viewpoint with benches. From here you have a beautiful view over the fields to Sottrum.

The title of the highlight at this location is perhaps not entirely accurate. From the vantage point you can look west to Sottrum across the wide Nettetal valley and east over Sillium and the A7 to Hainberg. To the north you can see Holle and behind it on the horizon the Barenberg near Grasdorf.
