At Knipper's, a true treasure has stood the test of time: a magnificent, deep blue, gleaming Dutch tiled stove. With its artfully decorated tiles in a rich, dark blue, this rare masterpiece is far more than just a source of warmth – it is the centerpiece of the house's over 150-year history.

If you'd like, you can follow the old railway embankment on foot for about 100 meters. A beautiful wooden bridge awaits you at the other end. However, the direct path across the embankment is completely overgrown for most of the year, so "just looking" is often the better alternative.

The Lastrup village park is right next to the St. Elisabeth monastery. There is a lake with a fountain on an area of 5.5 ha. Inviting green spaces with seating offer plenty of opportunities to relax.
