The path leads gently up and down through the beautiful heathland... a magnificent sight, especially during the flowering season... with luck you might spot the Heidschnucken sheep.

The Töpferstein stands on the Suhorn. The Suhorn is 108 meters high. The memorial stone is a large boulder. It is dedicated to Alfred Töpfer, who was chairman of the Nature Park Association for many years. The stone stands next to the hut, where information panels still provide information about Alfred Töpfer, the mountain, and its flora and fauna. The hut offers shelter, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful view of the heathland even in bad weather.

The heathland landscape of the Lüneburg Heath is beautiful at any time of year. The vast expanses of heathland, with their purple carpets, are a feast for the eyes during the flowering season. Those who don't necessarily have to travel during the flowering season are better off choosing the other seasons when there's significantly less going on.

The heath is particularly beautiful now during its flowering season. But wonderful views can also be enjoyed here at other times of the year.

In Bispingen, there's a small but appealing sculpture of a shepherd with Heidschnucken sheep, located in front of or next to the church. The bronze statue, mounted on a boulder, is a visible symbol of the Lüneburg Heath and is located in the center of Bispingen. Behind the statue, there's an information board about the Heidschnuckenweg, a hiking trail that runs from Celle to Hamburg.
