Lovely place for a stop and a bite to eat if the weather permits.

Within the grounds of Nostell Priory, you're likely to encounter Obelisk Lodge — a uniquely designed, Grade 2-listed building that once served as the gatehouse and home for the gatekeeper and his family.

Nice way out of ferry bridge avoiding the most of the dual carriage way.

This section of the NCN62 looks like to used to be an old road but is now closed to motorised traffic. The surface is a bit unveven but it's still just about fine for road bikes. There's a gated railway crossing and the gates are super-heavy. It's quite difficult to manage them and a bike if you're riding solo.

Section of the NCN62 that runs from Toll Bar to Bentley Park. The trail continues beyond this highlight in both directions but this section is a good way of getting off the busy A19. The old cinder track has recently been replaced with a new tarmac surface, so is accessible to all users.
