Best ridden from Garforth down hill to the bird sanctuary. Go look for the open cast mine digging machine in St Aidan’s and have a coffee in the cafe.

Great ride around the new and cycle friendly ELOR. Great facility for cyclists. It crosses 3 main roads that give access to Leeds and leads on to the old outer ring road which gives easy access to Roundhay and Chapel allerton

Crossing over the river so close to the wier makes this interesting. Quite an attractive location. If you can find somewhere secure for your bike the coffee is pretty good at 'Flavours' in Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre - alternatively you could try nearby Cykel House Bike Shop (with coffee) on Francis Street.
