Really nice gravelly tracks with various nature boards & lots of wild flowers & water plants. There are numerous points where you can cut up to the road, or you can navigate your way to Clay Cross almost entirely off road on a gravel bike

Love Bagthorpe Lane, smooth at the top, bumpy but fast in the middle with a steep but short climb at the end, what's not to like😁🚴♂️

Somersall Park was given to the Borough Council in 1930 by Robinson and Sons and the Derbyshire Playing Fields Association. Its playing fields were laid out for cricket and football and brass band concerts were held in the summer months.

MTB route but first half a good gravel for fork right to Owlet Bar. Route up to B6054 and on to Fox House for link to Burbage Track is good for gravel if drier. Good for summer
