Off to the holy mountain of Upper Swabia. The last few meters of the ramp are quite challenging. But a fantastic view awaits you at the top.

The region is wonderfully hilly. After you've driven down one bend, the next hairpin turn is already waiting for you – this time uphill.

You roll along the asphalt amidst orchards – what a view! If you need a break, there's a bench here with an information panel about the orchards.

Light traffic, good asphalt. You can really let it rip there.

Elaborately decorated wooden gate, a gift to Blaustein from the partner community of Cernat (Romania). Such gates were a symbol of special social status, especially in the 17th and 18th centuries. They were placed in front of the house. Here, too, the larger the gate, the higher the status of the owner. The origins of this tradition can probably be traced back to monasteries and courts of the Middle Ages.

Great cycle path to Blaubeuren. Be sure to cycle in the morning, as the atmosphere is particularly beautiful.
