前衛峰は、スキーやスプリットボードツアーに最適なピークターゲットです。ここから主峰まではかなり平坦な高原で、野生動物保護区も通っています。そのため、特定の時間帯には進行が禁止されているだけでなく、ツアー技術的にもあまり面白くありません。

Saint Lawrence, to whom this church in Egern is dedicated, is one of the early Christian martyrs from a time when Christianity was still forbidden. He was the Pope's archdeacon and was summoned by the pagan Emperor Valerian to hand over the church's treasure. Lawrence requested three days' grace, during which he distributed the church's wealth among the poor inhabitants of Rome. After the agreed time, he returned to the emperor with the poor to present them as the church's treasure. He was then martyred to death. Legend says he was roasted alive over coals on a gridiron—an attribute seen in many depictions of Saint Lawrence. He is said to have been in good spirits and asked his executioner if he would turn him over. Saint Lawrence's feast day in the calendar of saints is August 10th.

The Hirschi Trail on the Hirschberg in Kreuth offers exciting, technical riding fun. After a short climb along the forest road, the challenging Hirschi Trail descends. The trail has varying levels of difficulty, requiring different technical and coordination skills. With courage and self-confidence, the challenge is a lot of fun. Great emphasis is placed on controlled riding technique. Use is free. The route runs along a natural alpine mountain slope in the forest – not a bike park!
