Very nice wayside shrine with a resting bench

Don't worry about the two parking spaces. The place is visited by many older people, who are often brought by car. Previously, cars were parked along the side of the road, which led to dangerous situations with other road users. The residents raised €15,000 to make the paths safe and to renovate the chapel.

Small chapel worth seeing and a good place to take a short rest.

It was destroyed by a hurricane in 1946 and reconstruction was not possible until it was finally rebuilt in 1961!

The popular Türkenfeld Mountain Christmas takes place here every year during Advent, but before and after that, the Steingassen mountain, from which you have a wonderful view of Türkenfeld, the surrounding villages, Lake Ammersee and the Alps, is also worth a visit! Highly recommended!
