Lemons Hill Bridge carries the road across the northern end of Alton water reservoir. It links the two parts of Tattingstone village.

Great place to stop for a drink. lovely outdoor garden. beware, they don't serve food before noon.

The best view of the upper part of Alton Water. A wide, fast descent to the bridge from either direction with a short climb out.

Nice little town with a scenic location at the top of the Stour estuary and a pretty, historic high street with several cafes as well as a Tesco convenience store.

The lowest crossing on the River Stour, next to the tidal sluices separating the river from the estuary, and also the border between Essex and Suffolk. Originally the site of a timber bridge which was bleached white by the salt.

The park includes a cafe with bike stands and outdoor seating overlooking the river, open 9-4 every day.
