Ickelheim belongs to the town of Bad Windsheim. There are cozy places to stop for refreshments here and a gatehouse with great half-timbering that is well worth seeing.

The herb garden is lovingly laid out and maintained with a detailed description of the individual plants. Not the well-known herbs such as chives and parsley can be found here, but rather those that were traditionally used as medicinal herbs. Interesting and worth seeing.
