A beautiful path leads all the way around Lower Franconia's largest lake. The lake is a great place for a break. You can grab a snack at the kiosk and, if the weather's nice, sit on the sandy beach.

Cycle path signs are located at intersections and indicate the direction of your destination and the distance. The signs are also supplemented with small pictograms of the themed routes. It's good to know where to go if you don't have a navigation system.

At 512.2 m above sea level, the Nassacher Höhe is the highest mountain in the Haßberge mountain range on the Rennweg in the Haßberge district in Bavaria. The castle and palace hiking trail leads through the quiet natural landscape of the Haßberge to mysterious castles, castle ruins, church fortresses and palaces. There is a lot to discover on the tour, because: A third of all former knights' and nobleman's residences in Lower Franconia are located in the Haßberge. The total distance of the castle and palace hiking trail forms a large oval of around 190 kilometers. The northern route with 132.5 kilometers begins in the Regiomontanus town of Königsberg i. Bay., the southern route with 109.5 kilometers in the half-timbered town of Zeil am Main. There is also an east-west connection of around 25km from Ebern to Königsberg i. Bay.
