The neo-Gothic hall church made of ashlar masonry was built between 1846 and 1848 and is owned by the state after Bavaria recognized the building burden in 1835. After the state had committed itself to maintenance, the first service took place on June 24, 1861.[1] The church consists of a nave, a recessed choir closed on three sides in the east and a square roof tower in the west, which continues into an octagonal storey that houses the tower clock and the bell cage.
