The "river" is probably called Speltach. And it's more of a stream.... The Speltach is a stream in the Schwäbisch Hall district in northeastern Baden-Württemberg, which runs largely within the municipality of Frankenhardt and flows into the upper Jagst River from the left and approximately westward near the Crailsheim district of Jagstheim. It is just over 11 km long, including its longest upper course, and, measured by its catchment area, is the largest left-hand tributary of the Jagst River.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the reign of King Wilhelm II of Württemberg (reigned 1891-1918), a bust was erected here on the Burgberg tower.
