From the parking lot next to the Lauterburg cemetery you have a wonderful view of the Rosenstein east face and towards Essingen and Aalen.

On the way back we stopped briefly at the so-called Lärmfels viewpoint and were totally impressed by the spectacular view you have from there.

But the view goes to Pfaffenberg. The Hohe Wiere cannot be seen from the eastern flank of the Rosenstein, at least from below.
