When exploring Lauda's old town, a walk to the Powder Tower is worthwhile. It's a silent witness to history and invites you to pause and marvel. The adjacent park also offers a pleasant opportunity to soak up the town's atmosphere.

This is a historic bridge whose origins date back to 1813. It has been renovated according to its historical model.

It features a lovingly crafted figure of the Virgin Mary in a small rock niche. Surrounded by greenery and protected by ancient walls, the grotto invites you to linger and pray silently—a place that combines history and spirituality.

St. Wolfgang's Chapel dates back to the 15th century and was once a pilgrimage destination. It is idyllically situated west of the town, across the Tauber River, and is still the scene of the traditional Whitsun ride.

At almost 650 years old, the tower is now a listed monument and a popular landmark on the Old Town tour. It originally served to store gunpowder and defend the city.
