The Lion Monument in Tiengen, a district of Waldshut-Tiengen, is a memorial to the soldiers of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71. The lion, created by Tiengen-born sculptor Ludwig Gamp, was unveiled on September 3, 1899, and stands at the entrance to the pedestrian zone.

Located between the small hamlets of Birkingen and Birkendorf, this place offers a beautiful resting place with a view of the Rhine Valley and the Swiss Jura Mountains opposite
