Great in the dry, if a little bumpy, Wheel sucking mud when wet, I usually nip round the road when its wet

Excellent views to be had of this valley from the hills either side! This section is best ridden or walked in the spring or autumn when the crops aren't around and when it's not too wet.

Beautiful forrest vibe lane. Makes you feel close to nature. Watch out for the potholes, especially if you don't have a photochromic lenses as it gets darks with tall trees around.

Returned to Ashridge House. Lovely setting. Wasn't overly impressed with the food if I'm being totally honest, on the evidence of this visit. Bit undercooked IMHO and quite pricey. Zillions of wasps descended when the food arrived, which made it difficult to enjoy eating. However, it's such a nice setting and relaxing place that I will visit again.

Beautiful setting and building. I'll check out the food on my next visit.

Beer garden with a nice scenic view and room for your bike. Great for relaxing with a shandy half way through your ride!
