The river in the tunnel between the two lakes can be high, rather than get your feet wet just follow the car exit and cross the road and you can join back up with the path the other side.

Verulamium was the second largest Roman town in Britain, behind Londinium. The remains of the town can be seen in the park, plus an ornamental lake, fed by the River Ver. There is a weekly Park Run here at 9am every Saturday.

Perched above North London, Hadley Green acts as a gateway on the nicest way out and back into the city. A good spot to pause and feed the ducks before cycling through Barnet and down the hill back to 'town'.
