No matter which side you approach it from, the Kerschbaumer Saddle is challenging but also rewards with beautiful scenery.

Gentle climb is a good description... here you can ride uphill at a leisurely pace, so to speak. The tough part comes on the way back, with the steep climb to Aschau!

If you like a challenge, this is the place for you. With gradients of up to 15%, you'll be thrilled to reach the top!

Good pictures can be taken from the west side. On the east side of the Inn, the angle is unfavorable. Be careful, there's a lot of traffic on both sides.

Wonderful view over the lake including the Passion Play House and a funny sign :-)

There is a narrow sidewalk next to the road, but for the perhaps most beautiful castle photo the traffic is a bit unfavorable
