always worth a photo when crossing the river on the cycle paths

Great place for a break. The lake was freezing cold, but apparently that didn't stop everyone from swimming 😂 Kneipp therapy was enough for us. The dogs had a blast, cooling off and letting off steam. All in all, it's worth stopping here.

Beautiful nature on both sides of the path.

Landeck has a beautiful town centre. The castle towers above it.

In April 1752, the “Perjenner Gemainsleute” received permission to expand the chapel into a small church. The addition was completed at the end of the year. The little church was consecrated to “Our Lady, Help of Christians” and to Saints Notburga and Isidor – that’s why These can still be seen today in the high altarpiece at the feet of the Mother of God. The expansion made it possible to hold services here for the first time. Wandering monks, mostly from the Capuchin monastery in Imst, occasionally came to Perjen to read masses. For this purpose, the clergy took turns staying with different farmers The "Pfaffensteig" between Stanz and the Lötz is still reminiscent of the wandering monks, who usually looked after several places and collected gifts for the Imst monastery. Landeck-Perjen Parish Church (Our Lady Mariahilf) There was a small chapel here even before 1752. It encompassed the space under today's church gallery. In the photo this is the part of the building under the smaller turret. The altar once stood where the entrance portal is now. The wooden tanner's bridge over the Inn is the oldest bridge in Landeck and offers beautiful views of the river, the town and the castle.
