Especially in early summer it is wonderfully quiet here and you can enjoy the wonderful surroundings undisturbed.

The Berglisee (2,115 m) above the Ischgl hamlet of Mathon is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Tyrol. The small lake captivates with its incredible color and idyllic surroundings.

Walking along the water is always lovely. There are small turquoise pools here that invite you to cool off on hot days.

At the DAV hut (2,256 metres) you will be provided with regional food, you can take a break on the sunny terrace or even spend the night.

At 1,937 meters, you can enjoy a hearty snack with spicy cheese from the Paznaun. Perfect for refreshment on your tours.

The Niederelbehütte, located at an altitude of 2310 m, is picturesquely situated next to Lake Sess and offers impressive views of the Verwall.

The Berglisee is simply a dreamy place. It is picture-perfect and is painted in the most beautiful blue, surrounded by green trees and with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. There are several benches and barbecue areas on the shore. A little way below the lake there is an alpine pasture (not managed) where you can fill up your water supply at a spring.
