10月 27, 2025, Glyder Fawr Summit
A wonderful spiky summit with fine views to Yr Wyddfa and into Ogwen Valley. The summit itself is a scramble over very large jumbled boulders.

A high mountain with reasonable length walk-ins. Good scrambling route on it's north side that gives fine views of the 'Balck Ladders' cliff face.

10月 10, 2025, Moel Siabod Summit
Moel Siabod is a terrific viewpoint as it is isolated from the other main peaks of Eryri. On the day I climbed it I was fortunate to experience an inversion, where the clouds form a layer below the summit.

Lovely views but tricky summit to find boulders everywhere you need to climb up to the summit if wet would be unsafe cantilever stone looks amazing only problem with glyders is very bad on the foot but really enjoyed it I did tryfan north face then down the south side up the loose scree that was some climb and half top of glyders then Down one hell of a loose scree up y garn then down devils kitchen I wouldn't advise going down that if you are not good on your feet it's hell I've done it both ways going up is so much easier going down devils kitchen is really bad

There are fantastic views of Snowdonia from the top of Moel Siabod, but the weather must be clear. From the top it is possible to see 13 of the 14 highest peaks in Wales on a clear day without turning your head.

6月 25, 2025, Moel Siabod Summit
Moel Siabod is a lonely mountain in Snowdonia, with a trigonometric point of almost 900 metres, above Betws-y-Coed and Capel Curig. The routes up can be easily varied to suit different needs and abilities, and are always beautiful, with views of 13 of the 14 highest peaks in Wales from the summit on a clear day – without turning your head! Good parking and a café at the foot make Moel Siabod a great day out every time. (Ordnance Survey)

6月 22, 2025, Tryfan Summit
You can't miss these two huge stones right on the summit of Tryfan. Traditionally climbers would jump from one to the other to gain the freedom of the mountain. But be warned people have died in the attempt.

Wales' fourth highest summit has plenty of mountaineering interest at the head of Cwm Pen-llafar. At the head of the valley, a fine grade I winter ridge, the Llech Ddu Spur, rises towards the summit. To the east of this are the cliffs of the Ysgolion Duon, the Black Ladders, home to more challenging winter ascents.

Moel Siabod is a broad and isolated outlier of the Moelwynion Range, with a summit height of 2,860 feet (872 m). It is said that from the summit of the mountain you can see 13 of the 14 Welsh 3000s.

10月 4, 2023, Glyder Fach Summit and Cantilever Stone
Glyder Fach is a 3,261 foot (994 m) mountain in the Glyderau Range, and one of the Welsh 3000s. The summit is relatively broad and open, without an overly prominent rise. The summit ridge, however, is an austere and almost Tolkienesque area. Jagged boulders litter the summit, creating unusual rocky formations, notably Y Gwyliwr, or the Cantilever Stone - a precariously balanced rocky diving board. The views from the summit are arguable some of the best the country can provide, with views of the Menai Strait and North Wales Coastlines, the Snowdon Massif and the Ogwen Valley.

9月 6, 2023, Glyder Fawr Summit
The summit of Glyder Fawr stands at 3,284 feet (1,001 m). It's a rock-strewn area of large jagged stones in amazing formations. You need to keep your eyes on the ground to run, which is hard with the stunning mountain landscape all around!

5月 4, 2023, Tryfan Summit
Tryfan is one of the most iconic mountains in the UK, certainly in Wales. It just looks like a mountain from every direction, without a single easy approach available! At 917m high, it’s just one of the main 15 Peaks, and when recently re-measured it was feared it would lose that status. Thankfully, they discovered it was slightly higher than first thought. The summit of Tryfan is dominated by the twin obelisks of Adam and Eve, with the perilous leap from one to the other granting the ‘freedom of Tryfan’ .

12月 12, 2022, Carnedd Dafydd
Carnedd Dafydd at 3,425 feet (1,044 m) is the second-highest peak in the Carneddau range and one of the Welsh 3000s. It's a vast rocky summit with great views. Once you reach the summit area it's quite runnable but the climb up from Ogwen or anywhere else is steep and tough.

10月 23, 2022, Tryfan Summit
The North Ridge of Tryfan makes for an entertaining route to the top of the mountain. Be prepared to use your hands as this route isn’t a walk it’s much more of a scramble
