Spotting the house ahead signals you're almost at the summit, so shift into a low gear and enjoy the ascent! This road runs alongside Garden Lake providing a beautiful view of the tranquil waters and the stunning Stourhead Gardens. Keep an eye out for the market cross, originally erected in 1373 in the centre of Bristol and relocated to Stourhead in 1764.
