The Curator Cafe is a great artisan coffee shop in Totnes. They roast and sell coffee beans (or ground) as well as great mugs of coffee, cake, and light meals. Some outside seating and plenty of inside seating. Very friendly.

One of the independent artisan coffee shops for which Totnes is justly famed. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Can get very busy on a weekend morning!

The Dart is a river in England, which rises in two branches in the Dartmoor National Park. The Dart estuary, where there is a tidal range in the river, starts in Totnes. At the mouth of the Dart in the English Channel, Kingswear is on the east bank and Dartmouth is on the west bank. The Dart flows past Greenway Estate, Agatha Christie's holiday home.

Worth a stop to catch your breath and take in the amazing view over Teignmouth, Shaldon and the entrance to the Teign estuary. Better on a clear day.

Lovely breakfast and coffee, serves breakfast until 230pm!

Excellent bakery serving enormous pasties. The pasties are amazing and the caramel shortbread is also pretty okay. The shop is also a few doors down from the fudge shop which is very convenient.

Take some time to coast into the town. Have a coffee and cake at any number of the lovely independent cafes.
