The pond is beautiful, sure. But with the view behind it of the mountains around Pöllau, including Pöllauberg Abbey... it's perfect.

This church is already over 500 years old. For a long time, it was not certain that it would ever reach this age. In 1806, there were even calls for the church to be demolished, but this was only prevented because the community of Hofkirchen promised to cover the costs of its maintenance. Deither maintains it and constantly renovates it - most recently in 2002. The Gothic style has essentially been preserved, which is why this church is worth seeing: a Styrian landmark.

The half-round chapel with a round gable from the Baroque period was built in 1818 by the three farmers Johann Georg Gartlgruber, Josef Schirnhofer and Johann Josef Schirnhofer. The Gothic church of St. Stephen was built in the 15th century and has been expanded again and again. The Gothic style was retained. The old scaffolding holes can still be seen in the outer walls. Source: Wikipedia
