Interesting wooden bridge over the Danube ditch.

Kreuzenstein Castle rises impressively above Leobendorf on a hill in the Rohrwald forest. The site was strategically important due to its elevated position, 266 meters above sea level and approximately 100 meters above the Danube. The castle was reconstructed in the 19th century on the ruins of an earlier castle.

This bicycle bridge looks really cute. 🥰

The Donaugraben flows below the bridge. It connects the paths "Im Setzfeld" with the "Oberen Biberweg" it is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge. In 1908, on the occasion of the sixtieth year of regulation by the Emperor, a memorial stone was erected at the Danube Graben bridge in Bisamberg to commemorate the completion of the Danube Graben regulation. That would mean that the Donaugrabenbrücke is the road, because that's where the memorial stone is to be found!!!!

Art in public space made of recycled material designed by the Bisamberg artist Renate Pomberger in 2020 The bottles from the winegrowers from the wine villages of Bisamberg and Klein-Engersdorf were treated with weatherproof acrylic paints and covered with a grid.

From here you not only have a great view of Vienna and the surrounding area, but there are also a few benches for a short break from which, with a bit of luck, you can also watch the model glider pilots practicing their not uninteresting hobby.
