2026年5月の土曜日の午後に通りかかった時に開いていました。私のCamino Inglésの教会的なハイライトだったと思われる、素敵な教会です。特に教会の奥に設置されていた「祈りのテント」が気に入りました。 この教会はウィンチェスター - カンタベリー巡礼路にもあるため、ある種の精神的な交差点であることを特筆しておきます。

Saint NICHOLAS, Bishop of Myra, to whom the church in Chawton is dedicated, is – alongside Saint Martin, Bishop of Tours in France – one of the most popular saints of all. His feast day in the calendar of saints, December 6th, is probably known to almost every child.
