Lake Gösselsdorf is located in the heart of a nature reserve. It invites you to stroll, linger, and dream all year round. In summer, the water temperature reaches up to 27 degrees Celsius, making it the perfect place to cool off on warm days. Its water is clear and of drinking quality. It is also known that calamus grows in the lake, which makes for particularly beautiful, supple skin.

I have to disagree with my predecessor. The lake is said to have very good, healing water, despite, or perhaps because of, the water lilies...

There is only a weak current flowing through Lake Klopein. Only a few smaller superficial tributaries with low water flow and groundwater feed it. This makes Lake Klopein one of the least flooded lakes in Carinthia, which also explains the high water temperature. The runoff leaves the lake in the west and ultimately drains into the Drau. Lake Klopein is 1.8 kilometers long, 800 meters wide and 48 meters deep at its deepest point; the average depth is 23 meters.

Kühnsdorf is a village and cadastral municipality in the municipality of Eberndorf in the district of Völkermarkt in Carinthia. The village has 1,552 inhabitants, of whom, according to the 2001 census, around 10 percent belong to the Carinthian Slovene ethnic group.
