natural bathing pond. The 4€ day ticket for entry was absolutely worth it, even if we only stayed here for an hour on a very hot day. Children's paradise, shady spots on the sunbathing lawn even on a hot Sunday afternoon in July, friendly staff in the canteen with a beautiful shady terrace.

The Marzer/Rohrbacher Kogl is a protected nature park. The strictly protected common pasqueflower or, a little later, the very rare black pasqueflower grow here in spring. A rare type of lily in summer.

The pond meadows lie in a depression at the foot of the steep, sunny slopes of the Rohrbacher Kogel nature reserve. Originally mowed and grazed, the slopes are now empty. A small part of this landscape, the highest locations of the Rohrbacher (Marzer) Kogel were placed under nature protection.
