Absolutely overrated. Many trees have been broken or cut down. Completely overcrowded during normal daytime. You really don't have to go there...only if it's on your way.

Bushmills is home to the oldest licenced whiskey distillery in the world. Four Centuries later, they’re still making whiskey in Bushmills with Irish barley, and the water from their own stream. Bushmills whiskeys are amongst the most savoured in the world. Visitors can experience a tour of the Distillery.

The small town of Bushmills in the Northern Irish county of Antrim is considered the home of Uisce Beatha, the "water of life". The distillery of the same name has been producing one of the finest single malt whiskeys here for around 400 years. One of my favorites is the Stout Edition, "Craft Beer Barrels"

• A visit to Bushmills begins at the Visitor Center, which welcomes over 100,000 visitors annually. Since Bushmills does not malt itself, the tour of the "Old Bushmills" distillery begins at the large malt silos in which the malted barley is temporarily stored. The first step in production at Bushmills begins with malting the malt into grist (a grist made from flour and grist). The tour continues to the mash tun (mash tun) and then to the fermenting tun (wash backs) made of stainless steel. Visitors also visit the still house with its nine, relatively small stills, in which three distillations take place (triple distillation). The 1-hour tour of the distillery is relatively expensive. In the end you only get a single, small whiskey sample.

The door is inside the hotel. If you politely ask for it, you'll even get a "passport" with all of the Game of Thrones doors.
