Louisa Lake is a charming spot nestled within Bedgebury Forest, often encountered on the woodland bike trails. With a peaceful bench nearby, it’s the perfect place to pause and take in the scenery.

The Five Ways section is part of the 8 mile (13 km) of red-rated single track at Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest. It winds its way around the 2,000 acres (810 hectares) of Bedgebury Forestry and is designed to meet the thrill needs of most mountain bikers. Expect stiff climbs, technical decents, berms, drops, and large rocks.

A great place to stop for a sandwich and coffee (very cycle friendly and always has some room for you and your doggie!)

Very good rest stop while riding in Kent

In this church, there is a brass memorial to John Wyborne and his wives, Cecily and Agnes. While the oldest parts date back to the 13th century, the majority of the building is from the 14th century. It is a Grade II listed building.

The café at the visitor centre is a good place for a pre- or post-run drink, snack or meal. Sit out on the large terrace and enjoy the view.

Louisa Lake is a small, pretty lake within the Bedgebury forest. You pass it on a few loops of the woods and there is a nice bench if you fancy a rest.

Parking is £7 per car for a full day. No other options for shorter periods. Cafe, toilets, bike hire, laser tag and water sport activities on site. Plenty of space to park on weekends. Great views of the reservoir and access to walking trails.
