Nice place for a stop a lot to see,eat and recoup for your ride

The rumble strips really took me by surprise but they have ways to get around them. Surface of the road is alright but nothing special. I cycled it around 4:30pm so it was as busy as it gets, which was moderate, certainly nothing too upsetting. Views off to Wales and the Bristol Channel islands.

Totney Drove road across the Westhay Levels south of Wedmore. It's a long flat road barley higher than sea level so susceptible to flooding in the winter. The River Brue runs to the south and North Drain runs to the north.

Kewstoke Road between the northern edge of Weston Wood and the Bristol Channel. You can see across to Wales on a clear day.
