Situated on Romney Marsh and not far from the local town of New Romney. Surrounded by the marshes and opposite the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, The Star Inn offers a traditional pub setting with a modern menu and well kept selection of real ales. St Nicholas Church is an Anglican church in New Romney, Kent, England, and in the Diocese of Canterbury, It is a Grade I listed building. The earliest parts of the church date from the 12th century.

This church sits on a site that has seen much in its time. A Saxon fort was once built here but Danish invaders sacked it and a church of this dedication was noted in the Domesday Book. Part of the tower dates back to the 12th century and it was struck by lightening in the 16th. The resulting fire destroyed much of the church, and it was rebuilt into the one you see today.

A local farm with a vending machine with various produce such as cakes, pies, fruit, veg, yogurts, local fruit drinks, milkshake etc......it varies depending on demand. The vending machine takes card only. make sure you close the vending machine product doors after you take your product.
