Great segment of off road track but badly ploughed track get off and push! Fantastic in Spring for Bluebells in the woods.

This is a reasonably priced, immaculate, super-friendly campsite, close to the North Downs and Saxon Shore Ways. It also has the Stagger Inn - a BYOB bar, with kettle, microwave, TV, games, books, etc as the perfect place to relax/dry out/warm up/chill out after a hard day's hiking/biking. Nice tea room with good coffee from a local roaster (Bloss coffee) cake offerings a plenty with cooked breakfast rolls on offer as well. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Good view of the planes coming in and out. Clean and tidy toilets. Accepts cards. Revisited 14th Sept and had a breakfast sandwich, very tasty and the coffee was spot on again. Woodchurch is a very pretty village and the benches overlooking The Green are the perfect place for a quick breather and a sandwich.

Beautiful Spot to take the family for some nature spotting

Good food at this pub and if you ask nicely, you can put your bikes in the garden area at the rear. Although the staff were very friendly, the landlord himself is less so, particularly to cyclists - he seems to care more about his Mercedes than visitors on bikes. Known to be occasionally visited by Morris dancers.

This route is close to Port Lyme safari reserve. Founded by the millionaire, John Aspinall. This park, along with Howletts near Canterbury, runs a conservation project to get animals back into the wild. On a good day, you may even see a giraffe https://www.aspinallfoundation.org/port-lympne/

Bilsington is an old village with plenty of history hidden in its folds. Its church, St Peter and St Paul, is 12th-century although large sections were rebuilt over the centuries. Next to it sits a 15th-century barn, lovingly taken care of, with its own medieval moat. It's now a spectacular wedding venue. The monument that lies just to the east is the Cosway obelisk, built in the 1800s in honour of Sir William Cosway, a local landowner, who lost his life in a coach accident.
