A very nice tour around the island, no cars and otherwise very quiet. You should watch out for small and large crabs crossing the roads......... The island is a dream, I can only recommend it!

Very idyllic South Sea port without many people .......

For €20 you can get a driving license from the Cook Islands. It is not recognized anywhere but is a nice souvenir.

Rarotonga is the largest of the Cook Islands and yet so small that it could fit around eight times in Lake Constance. It offers visitors everything they could hope for from a South Sea paradise. It is rightly called the "Flower Island". The fertile coastal strip resembles a large garden and the volcanic craters in the interior of the island are lushly covered in vegetation. The residents themselves also like to decorate themselves with flowers.

The island's capital, Avarua, is more like a village. The main attraction there is the "Queen Makeas Palace", the former residence of the Queen of Rarotonga.

Rarotonga, the largest of the Cook Islands. It offers visitors everything they could hope for from a South Sea paradise. The island is surrounded by an almost closed fringing reef that encloses a turquoise lagoon.
