After completing my bikepacking tour in Sri Lanka, I got my bike serviced at Hinni’s Cycle Centre. Randeer, the mechanic did an excellent job, taking everything apart, cleaning, greasing and putting it back together. It took 4 hours and the bike was ready for another adventure. Excellent service. Thank you!

Hinni is an absolute biking nerd and his shop has not only top notch equipment but also comes across as a kind of museum. It was biking shop number five I looked at but here I got what I wanted and a bit more.😅

It is a good trip from Colombo to Panadura Beach. You have the option of the busy mainroad or get on the quiter backroads. Even swapping between the two options at any time is possible.

The almost 15 m high stone round tower was built in 1952 on Galbokka Point, the remains of an old fort. The Old Clocktower Lighthouse is a clock tower and former lighthouse. The 29 m high and square masonry was built in 1860 in the center of Colombo as a clock tower.
