For years, the service has been incredibly friendly, and the food is very good and freshly cooked at truly fair prices, especially considering everything has to be transported and produced up here. The terrace is perfectly situated in the sun, and the interior is very rustic. You can feel the tradition of this ancient hut.

At 2,096 meters, the Schattberg West Summit is the highest point on the Schattberg ridge and offers a magnificent panorama of the surrounding mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern.
