Very nice stop, good restaurant, charging facilities for e-bikers.

The Raten mountain – at 1077m – high above Lake Ägeri offers a fantastic view of our mountains. The Restaurant Raten is highly recommended: The atmosphere is lovely and cozy, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious. It has a large parking lot, which is also a good starting point for hikes. Parking is subject to a fee daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Breathe in deeply and go full send! Upper section after the tight turn near Elefantenbach is steep so keep some energy. Road is usually busy with cars so be careful on the way up in the cycle lane

A good way to get out of Zurich. You have to ride on the road (marked bike path) until Witikon. From this point on, the bike path runs alongside the road.

After the last curve of their serpentine road, there is park bench offering magnificent views of the Bostadel valley below.

The Gottschalkenberg climb is on mostly good asphalted surface offering continuous beautiful views. After the last curve of the serpentine road, there is a park bench to have a break and take in the magnificent views.

It's a beautiful bike ride. Plenty of parking is available (fee applies). Nearby is the Egg swimming pool, with a snack stand (sausage and sandwiches). The Greifensee and Lützelsee lakes are 48 km away, and are also suitable for children.
