Perg is a beautiful and worthwhile small town just a few kilometers from Linz.

The small town of Perg has a long and eventful history. Its proximity to Linz has also contributed to its popularity.

Lake Plesching near Linz is a popular destination and offers ideal conditions for cyclists. A flat, approximately two-kilometer-long circular route runs directly along the water and is perfect for leisurely rides or family outings. The lake is located near the Danube Cycle Path and is easily accessible via lakeside paths, making it a worthwhile detour for touring cyclists. For more ambitious cyclists, a variety of mountain bike trails start nearby at Pfenningberg. With seating areas, restaurants, playgrounds, and well-maintained lawns for sunbathing, Lake Plesching is also an ideal spot for a relaxing break during a bike tour.

Perg is a really nice place, great center and good ice cream :)
