This climb is a leg-burner, perfect for a serious workout. In reverse, it’s a scenic, enjoyable downhill, offering sweeping views of the countryside - so a rewarding ride in either direction.

Not open to the public and no cafe near, but nice road riding area. Watch out for pot holes and dog crap on the grass!

Nice bit of single track stretching through a nice field. There may or may not be cows roaming about the place and also watch out for cattle grids!

A fun climb, not too hard with a great view. Well worth it.

A nice option for a stop on the edge of Little Bowden. Prepare to do a bit of climbing when you leave though, if heading south.

Nestled in the valley of the River Jordan, Braybrooke is a small and picturesque Northamptonshire village. It lies on the path of the Jurassic Way, a long-distance footpath that traces Northamptonshire's limestone escarpment. Walkers will find excellent food at the Swan, though accommodation in the surrounding region is lacking.

At the source of the River Welland, Sibbertoft is a pretty Northamptonshire village that boasts several listed buildings, notably its Grade II*-listed parish church. You can seek accommodation and good food at the Red Lion.

Stunning views across the valley as you leave or head towards Market Harborough.

Great stop for food and drinks in the sun.

Choice of cafes and plenty of grass to sit out on. Shame about all the cars

Braybrooke's Church of All Saints is the most magnificent building in the village. Its impressive, elongated spire was built sometime around the end of the 14th century and towers above the village centre. The oldest parts of the church are likely to date back to the 13th century.
