This Templar chapel is somewhat hidden on a working farm. If you want to discover and "experience" it, simply walk past the cows into the yard, and you'll soon see the entrance gate. Another world immediately opens up; it's always a pleasure! Here, you can "feel" the acoustics; the canon "Dona nobis pacem" is perfect for this, as are many other hymns. This gem can also be incorporated into a hike; if you combine both "Wonsheimer Walderleniswege," for example, you'll inevitably walk along the edge of the forest and can take this small, very special detour. The Naturfreundehaus Flonheim is an ideal place for a coffee and cake break. Please note: only open on Sundays and public holidays! A little further up is the Schauinsland viewpoint, which can be reached on foot. The Naturfreundehaus also has a rest area and playground.
