Short stop

The jetty offers a great view of the pond, but unfortunately you can't get any further along the water.

Built between 1200 and 1240, the exact date of construction of this Romanesque fieldstone church on a cruciform floor plan is unknown – Ice Age boulders were used locally. St. Crucis features Gothic-style alterations, including the choir apse in the east and the organ loft. Bricks were used for the first time during these construction projects, and these bricks were subsequently used extensively in the Margraviate of Brandenburg during the so-called Brick Gothic period.

Seasonal restaurant, mostly open on weekends.

After several unsuccessful attempts to operate the railway line economically since reunification, the Brandenburg–Bad Belzig section was gradually decommissioned and dismantled between 2011 and 2021.

The bike path has now been (partially) repaired. The grass was cut last year.
