The church stands at the centre of an Iron Age hillfort. Church Way follows the curve of the eastern rampart, you can see the western rampart running through the field. Good views from here.

Cracking cafe in the middle of Brackley, set in - you guessed it - an old fire station. Good coffee, bike spaces and friendly staff.

Ventilation chimney for the grand Union Canal Tunnel below wow.

Just south of Northampton, Blisworth is a pleasant village on the Grand Union Canal. It has long been associated with rail travel and a station was built here for the London to Birmingham line, as well as a majestic arched bridge, designed by Robert Stephenson. The station has since gone but the West Coast Mainline passes close to the village. As well as the canal's towpath, nearby Salcey Forest will also interest walkers. There are a range of facilities and three waymarked walking trails that explore the woodland.

This landmark is a ventilation tunnel for the Grand Union Canal, which passes under the field through the Blisworth Tunnel at this point.
